PROJECT STORY
For Holy Cross Coptic Orthodox Church in Cedar Park, Texas, CAT Egypt created a sanctuary ensemble conceived as a single visual composition. The iconostasis establishes the focal point of the church with a large central arch, layered carved ornament and integrated icon openings, while matching liturgical furnishings extend the same vocabulary into the sanctuary.
The project sits within the church’s newer Cedar Park building at 900 Holy Cross Drive. Wide views show how the warm carved woodwork anchors an otherwise light, contemporary interior and remains legible from the full length of the nave.
